Inspired by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, ALL SHOOK UP follows a small Midwestern town that is thrown into a frenzy with the arrival of Chad, a good-looking, motorcycle-riding roustabout, who rides from town to town with a guitar on his back, blue suede shoes on his feet, and a song in his heart. Repressed by their conservative mayor, the town begins to come alive once more under Chad’s influence. Lovers meet, woo, pursue, and more, all in one hectic night that will change the town forever.

SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD | audition eligibility: You can audition for Songs for A New World if you...have participated in a show with Tartan Theatre between 2019-2024 & will have graduated high school by the time rehearsals start (this includes the class of 2024)
42ND STREET | audition eligibility: These auditions are open to student actors from district 622 and beyond going into 8th grade through outgoing high school seniors (class of 2024).
Coming to Tartan Theatre in 2023 - 2024
Tartan Theatre produces musicals & plays year-round and engages students in smaller workshops and projects intermittently through the school year as well.
Students interested in theatre can complete this form to be added to the email list for Tartan Theatre. We send out emails about upcoming auditions, workshops, performances, and other relevant opportunities that allow students to develop their skills.
